How We Name Our Animals

So that you know why we name our snakes the way we do, here is the why.

- Coastal carpet pythons are named after characters from various forms of television shows, movies and other pop culture paraphernalia.

- Jungle carpet pythons are named after colours appropriate to their type irregardless to their locality type.

- Centralian carpet pythons are named after flora, i.e. flowers and trees, not necessarily Australian native flora.

- South Western carpet pythons are named after board games and popular activites and handicrafts.

- Diamond carpet pythons are named after people from the Legends and Mythology of various cultures.

- Inland/Murray Darling carpet pythons are named after precious stones and gems.

- Darwin/North Western carpet pythons are named after consumable foods.

- Intergrade and mixed blood carpet pythons are sorted into what ever other type of python they look like and named appropriately, i.e if they look like a Coastal, they are named like Coastals, if they look like a Diamond, they are named like Diamonds. Yet if they look like neither, will be named after mixed bloods.
