Classification Codes

So that you understand how we classify our animals with their numbered tags, firstly we give them a number in the order they were purchased by us, for example '01', then its their gender, male or female, 'M' or 'F', and then the year they were born, i.e 2010 would be '10'. Although in some cases we only received approximates from the previous owners and so we go on that, not all the ages of our animals are exact. Next we have their carpet python classification, i.e whether they are a Coastal, a Jungle, a Darwin python etc, and an abbreviation of any pattern type, i.e. striped would be 'STR', a Jaguar or Caramel morph would be 'JAG' or 'CAR' etc. Combinations of more than one morph would also be shown in the letters.
